It was once a wonderful place in the Vrancea Mountains (Romania), where Heaven and Earth is united and created a perfect harmony with the Universe.
There lived a large family, with God in their thoughts, which with wisdom and diligence, cultivated their land. They were in a permanent contact with nature and its phenomena.
There they lived and protector goddesses of nature and the seasons. They watched everything that is likely to follow the natural cycle of life and death.
This family was composed of adults (parents) and their seven children, four girls and three boys.
The first born is called Earth. He was very stubborn and very carefully as everyone else to obey the laws of nature.
The second child, Water, was a sensitive, charming and elusive being, that she could be pleasant. She slipped through all the obstacles in the way it came out.
On the third called it Wood. He was very gentle and warm, always present, full of compassion and understanding.
The fourth is called Fire. He was tall, athletic, a born champion, ready to take action, to transform everything what was unbeneficial and spur on others, especially the two borthers, Wood and Iron.
The fifth was Iron. He had a distant character, but was a reliable boy, whom you could rely in any situation.
Wind was very calm by nature, which soothes everyone with his kindness.
On the seventh child was calling Air. Full of compassion, he helped everyone regardless of the hardships he faced.
They all lived in perfect harmony, until one day when a group of people from other lands lost and arrived in this beautiful place.
At first everything went well. Our family has shared everything she knew about the miracles of nature. Just like they, this people wanted that everyone to live in harmony. Thus he urged the group to respect nature and its laws, to not make her to be very angry, creating imbalances.
People went very pleased with what they had heard and promised to do as they were advised. But immediately after they have departed, their thoughts began to fly at how much money they will win using the nature.
They began to cut forests, to make dams, to divert rivers, to extract all the natural reservoirs from the entrails of the Earth, to make massive construction by deforestation, etc.. Alive or not, nature was no longer anything for them. They gathered many riches, but to gather as much more than more diversified. And this happened, generation after generation.
Hey, but it arrived the moment when our family realized that they were wrong sharing the people their knowledge and so they decided to give them a lesson.
Water flooded everything she encountered in the path. Earth has not yielded fruits. Trees were dry, and Fire burned all human settlements. Wind spread the Fire and the Air choked them.
After many disasters, people has realized the magnitude of their mistakes, but it was too late. From now their planet was sick. Then they ask the Universe to give them a chance.
They prayed and they all prayed until the good God has allowed another attempt. Now people are interested in the true values of life. They are concerned with how much the nature helps them to live, fully convinced by that everything it is. And they again began to respect and protect her. Little by little, the relationship between man and nature was resumed.
Our hope is that we can fix the mistakes made.
